For the opening of documenta fifteen, we invite you to various parties, taking place simultaneously across the city. The night at WH22, hosted in collaboration with lumbung artists Party Office b2b Fadescha, welcomes Turkana and Black Sistarz (Catu Diosis and R3ign Drops).

She is a member of the Nyege Nyege Collective and founder of Dope Gal Africa (DGA), an organization that supports and nurtures African and diasporan female and femme identifying talents. Catu has played Eurockeennes (2019), Nyokobop Festival in Paris (2019), Panorama Bar (2020), Festival Variations (2022), Tremor Festival (2022) and at the Ugandan pavilion at the Venice Biennale (2022). Recently, Catu Diosis has joined forces with R3ign Drops alias Black Sistarz to work on an EP. Their performance at documenta fifteen will be their first show in Europe as a duo.
South Sudanese DJ and Producer Turkana sees the dancefloor as a battleground that feeds on the tension between oppression and liberation. She plays leftfield African electronics, hard dance, non-normative techno and underground from the global South. Her new release is upcoming from Hakuna Kulala.
Hailing from Kampala, Uganda, R3ign Drops is a young DJ with a taste for Techno and groovy Afro House beats. R3ign Drops started her journey as a DJ and producer in 2019 during her residency at Nyege Nyege and has since performed at some of Kampala’s most popular clubs.
