Program for children by Saodat Ismailova

The program for children by lumbung artist Saodat Ismailova is an educational activity that introduces children to other cultures through music. Children can guess the sounds of different animals imitated on a musical instrument from Central Asia called Qobyz. The program will include a small concert with traditional Kazakh pieces that illustrate totem animals in Kazakh culture. There will also be a small theatrical play with orteke, traditional animal toys, dancing under the performer’s control.
