Madina Zholdybekova: Workshop Session 1 by Saodat Ismailova

Upon invitation by lumbung artist Saodat Ismailova, Madina Zholdybekova organizes a workshop for children and young adults. A necklace of 40 beads and other objects serves as a talisman against failure, bad energy and obsessive thoughts. The talisman is made from various found objects, like shells, twigs, plastic lids, pasta, marmalade bears, garlic, and vanilla sticks. Everything that we would have put in a treasure chest under the ground as children can now be worn as a talisman. Children and young adults from the ages of 7 to 16 are invited to participate. Participation is limited to ten people.
