Détours-Atajos: Atlántico Pacífico by Más Arte Más Acción

Atlántico Pacífico by Détours-Atajos, aims to connect three groups of women from Senegal, Colombia, and France, and initiate a dialogue about the heritage of colonization and slavery throughout the centuries and across the oceans—from its roots in Africa to contemporary Colombia and France. Through a series of workshops, the women revisit and reinterpret traditional tales in order to create silent short films, and talk about their experience regarding tradition, violence, racism, emancipation, and hope.
