Artists Talk with Amy Lien and Enzo Camacho: waves move bile by Sa Sa Art Projects
For this artists talk by lumbung artist Sa Sa Art Projects, Amy Lien and Enzo Camacho present their work waves move bile (2020), an installation of five illuminated sculptures and a multi-channel sound work.
Originally commissioned for Manifesta 13 in Marseille, the sculptures’ forms are based on a monument created by French sculptor Louis Botinelly, which depicts a nude supine woman surrounded by the material spoils of colonial conquest as an allegory of the Asian colonies, and which sits at the entrance to a grand staircase that ascends to the central train station in Marseille.
The venue Sandershaus / Haferkakaofabrik is only partially wheelchair accessible.
Access to the interior of the building and the bar there can only be accessed via several steps at both entrances and therefore are not barrier-free. Ramps are not available.
The works in the backyard of Sandershaus/Haferkakaofabrik are partially accessible at ground level. The conditions of the grounds (Street concrete, lawn, dry garden soil) must be taken into account.
The barrier-free bathroom on the ground floor is accessible from outside.
