As part of the Art Schools of Asia program by lumbung artist Asia Art Archive, this conversation brings together Salima Hashmi and Zheng Shengtian, two artists who have been mentors to generations of younger artists since the 1960s.

The two will share their experiences at the art academies they have taught at and discuss the intersection of learning and artmaking in their practice.
