Languages: English, Spanish

Directions

Upon invitation by lumbung member Instituto de Artivismo Hannah Arendt (INSTAR), Joanna Warza gives A talk about an artwork by Małgorzata Mirga-Tas, a number of whose works are on display at Fridericianum. Warza discusses patchworking as a work of repair, as a carrier of narration, and as vehicle of life after life. She also touches on the situated practice of the Polish-Roma artist and activist, and the struggle for more visibility for this still stigmatized largest European minority.
