The Horizontal Newspaper. Artist talk and book launch by Dan Perjovschi

The Horizontal Newspaper is a 12 year long project in public space in Sibiu, lumbung artist Dan Perjovschi’s hometown. This year’s edition was titled documenta edition and got a twin in Kassel during documenta fifteen. Really horizontal and updated during the 100 days.

The talk will show the context of the Sibiu Project and its extension into PAV the VISUAL ART PLATFORM, a group exhibition involving 30 artists from Romania and Germany. In the spirit of lumbung values, such as sharing resources, PAV was financed from the artist documenta production budget and the artist fee from FITS the International Theatre Festival Sibiu (the frame of The Horizontal Newspaper). The Book is edited by Gloria Luca, a young Romanian woman artist-researcher who has studied the project for some years. The book includes a chapter with the Kassel extension of the wall.
