The dissociation of behavior by Instituto de Artivismo Hannah Arendt

Languages: English, Spanish

lumbung member Instituto de Artivismo Hannah Arendt presents a workshop that is based on the work of the body in the theater as an expressive resource capable of giving the theater a spatial dynamic that it does not usually have. Dissociation as an Obstacle—the so called theater technique serves to stimulate creativity and the ability to innovate in all fields: the use of the body in space (dynamics and language), spectacular dramaturgy or weighting of previous ideas, levels of behavior, expression, and invention. “The actor’s body as a collapse of the whole, where it is no longer possible to distinguish its fragments. There are no remnants of the old schizophrenic morality. You have to learn to ride chaos.”
