Persephone Theatre’s conference: The Resistance Boat by Instituto de Artivismo Hannah Arendt

lumbung member Instituto de Artivismo Hannah Arendt (INSTAR) invites visitors to Persephone Theatre’s conference: The Resistance Boat. It is a talk about the foundation and trajectory of Perséfone Teatro. The conditions of Cuban independent theater and how is dealing with government censorship will be discussed. Another subject is theatrical production from the independence field, alternative ways and management of financing a show. The discussion also deals with the construction process of the theatre’s productions, their approach to classical texts, repertoire theater since the independence, as well as Shakespeare and the great parallels with the Cuban reality.
