Making Kokodamas
With Berlin-based artist Gudrun Ingratubun, children will learn how to prepare Kokodamas, a Japanese form of garden art for plant holding. Children will mold balls of clay and lighter soil around a delicate plant, rap the ball with moss and tie it with a long string. The prepared kokodamas can be taken home or hung in the RURUKIDS space.
