Event
Hannah Arendt, Freedom, and Art by Instituto de Artivismo Hannah Arendt
Political action requires that one leave the anonymity and safety of private life and risk being seen and judged in the world. To act in politics is to seek to make sense of the world, which is why Arendt writes, “Courage is indispensible because in politics not life but the world is at stake.”
In this session we ask what it means to act courageously in the name of the common world.
