Sound Weaving Installation: Burn Zhalmauyz Kempir and Play for Two: The Bad and The Good is an event by lumbung artist Saodat Ismailova.

This work visualizes the attitude of society towards “wrong” women. Burn Zhalmauyz Kempir is an interactive weaving piece depicting seven witches. By touching different areas of the weaving you can hear women’s voices telling stories, who stumbled up against the prohibitions of a patriarchal society, and were subsequently demonized, rejected, or punished.
