Documentary Climbing a good tree with Gilbert German, human rights activist from Ghana, and Tim Pauls who directed the movie. The movie highlights Gilbert German’s efforts to protect the rights of children and young people in Ghana. It was produced as the result of a students´ exchange between St. Germans School (set up by Gilbert German) and a trade school in Lower Saxony. Highlighting the challenges in the life of ghanaian children, it also reveals the dark sides of our consumer society. Inspired by the work of Gilbert German and the students of St. Germans School the movie is a passionate appeal for more humanity and social commitment.

Afterwards, Gilbert Germain will talk about his work and answer questions from the audience.
