TALAKA: Self-organisation and Solidarity in Belarus by ZK/U – Center for Art and Urbanistics
lumbung member ZK/U – Center for Arts and Urbanistic and invited guests from Belarus – Miensk Urban Platform, Pershy Krok, KX Theatre, Work Hard! Play Hard! working group – meet to discuss various forms of artistic and political self-ogranisations, feminism, strikes and urge for decolonisation in Belarus after massive social uprising in 2020 and devastating imperialist russia’s war on Ukraine in 2022.
The title of the program TALAKA stands for a collective mutual neighbourly help and support among Belarusian peasants and translates into contemporary forms of autonomy, resistance and self-organisation.
