Ifá geomantic system of vocabulary and alphabetical order: an artistic iconography by lumbung artist Another Roadmap Africa Cluster is a presentation on a writing technique developed by Nigerian artist Moyo Okediji in 2012. The technique is based on a geomantic system of the Yorùbá religion Ifá, which is practiced by highly trained indigenous custodians of the Ifá corpus in the Yorùbá-speaking areas of West Africa. This writing’s visual, iconographic, and semiotic nature makes it worthwhile to explore.
