Förderverein Landrosinen Kulturnetzwerk Schwalm-Eder: How to Be a Rural Artist – Pleasures, Participation, and Plasticity
What’s the idea of being a “Landrosine (Countryside Raisin)“? A short multimedia feature adressing past and future visions of collaboration, joined by interactive live music and a colorful hands on experience.
Countryside Raisins: 20 years of pioneering a collective artistic infrastructure in a rural environment: Small villages, heavy beams, low funding: artistic life and work in the countryside meets very site-specific demands and ambitions. Dispersed in a wider area, but like raisins floating in the same pudding, the „Landrosinen“ have been creating a lively network that reflects artistic diversity and discourse, as well as a common ground in an environment of deeply rooted traditions and rural life, creating inclusive access to cultural events and local empowerment.
